The Out Barn Wedding Photography

Bridal prep set the tone for Charlotte and Dom’s wedding – lively and hilarious. From the first brew to the final lipstick check there was a proper buzz, with music on, stories flying and Charlotte laughing her way through it all. 

The ceremony was beautiful: warm, joyful and light-hearted—helped by a special guest appearance from Dave the cockerel, who timed his cameo perfectly and had the whole room grinning. Vows were heartfelt, smiles were constant, and the space looked beautiful with soft light pouring through the big windows at The Out Barn.

Afterwards we stepped outside for confetti and a short wander. No posing marathons—just a relaxed loop to get some shots of just the two of them. The Out Barn makes portraits easy: open views one minute, a tucked-away corner the next, so five to ten minutes is plenty. Charlotte and Dom were effortless in front of the camera and absolutely rocked their portrait session.

Dave wasn’t the only surprise guest on the day – singing waiters tipped the day straight into party mode – napkins in the air, tables drumming, everyone on their feet. We worked the room for those unrehearsed reactions you can’t plan: wide eyes, tears of laughter, arms around shoulders.

As the sun dipped we nipped out for a quick golden-hour loop—soft, flattering light just beyond the terrace – then back in for a packed dance floor and the kind of chaos that makes a night go off!
