We’re Eighth Avenue Photo & Film – a husband and wife team based near Preston. Beeston Manor is one of our absolute favourite Lancashire venues, so much so that we got married there ourselves in 2012!
The gorgeous stone barn, beautiful light, uninterrupted views and relaxed staff suit our natural, documentary approach perfectly.

Real wedding at Beeston Manor - Chloe & Joe
The forecast said rain, but Beeston Manor stayed kind to us – soft, even light all day, perfect for natural, documentary coverage. Chloe got ready with an amazing group of bridesmaids who kept the morning super relaxed and meant it was an absolute dream for us to capture.
The ceremony was gorgeous, both the beautiful setting and the permanent smile on Chloe’s face (which continued for the rest of the day). Afterwards we took a short wander around the grounds. No posing marathons, just a relaxed walk and a chat while we caught some formal photos around the latest extension to Beeston Manor – The Meadows, making use of the stunning floor to ceiling windows in the corridor.
Speeches brought the biggest laugh of the day when Chloe’s mum was presented with a “lifetime supply of Co-Op crisps.” A proper family moment – her mum’s face was priceless and is exactly the type of moment we adore to capture. As evening settled, we nipped out for a few more photos in amongst the long grass at the back of the venue. With beautiful soft light framing the pair before we headed back in to capture the chaos that was the dancefloor.

Beeston Manor FAQs
Do you pose people?
The only real posing we do are for your portraits and the group photos. Even then it’s minimal – we won’t have you stood like a mannequin – promise!
How long do you stay?
Full day coverage typically runs from prep to first dance (or around 8-10 songs after, more if the dance floor is crazy).
What about rain?
We always have a plan B. As we shoot primarily in the North West of England, we’re adept at rainy weddings (although it would be lovely not to have to be!)
Do you do both photos and film?
Absolutely. We offer different options for film coverage along side photography. Just give us a shout if you want to know more.
